Kenna Kelly:
Kenna Kelly is a highly experienced GIS management consultant, cartographer and trainer, based in Zambia, and recently working in UNDP Afghanistan, who has operated in many countries in Africa, Central America and Asia.  Her work has involved GIS project management, capacity development, design, development and implementation of geo-databases and mapping methodologies for agriculture, environmental and natural resources, marine ecology, physical infrastructure and water resources management for a wide variety of studies and research projects. Specific experience includes:

• Management, coordination and implementation of a variety of projects in Africa, Asia and Caribbean
• 14 years overseas, international GIS management and consultancy experience using ESRI GIS
• GIS experience in Afghanistan, Anguilla, Belize, Botswana, Bhutan, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lesotho, Maldives, Mozambique, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Zambia
• Development of visionary strategies for the establishment and development of geospatial implementation in various organisations and institutions
• Design and implementation of spatial databases for agricultural research, agri-businesses and crop suitability, agriculture, environmental impact, forestry, marine biodiversity, physical infrastructure, population and water resources
• Interpretation and classification of remotely sensed imagery for land use, marine biodiversity and vegetation using IDRISI and ERDAS Imagine software’s, and field collection of data using GPS
